Serbia signs Convention on Establishment of International Organization for Mediation

Minister of Justice Nenad Vujic signed the Convention on the Establishment of the International Organization for Mediation (IOMed), initiated by the People’s Republic of China, in Hong Kong today. During the Global Forum on International Mediation, in addition to the line ministers from the PR of China and Serbia, representatives of 30 other countries also signed the Convention establishing IOMed.


Vujic estimated that China had become a global leader in industrial production, scientific research and innovations thanks to its policies, based on peace, stability, a long-term vision and strategic planning.

– The Convention on the Establishment of the International Organization for Mediation, aimed at peacefully resolving international disputes, represents a significant step towards establishing a quality and sustainable system that will contribute to more efficient dispute resolution at the international level - Vujic emphasized, according to the website of the Government of Serbia.
