Winter aqua park in Petrovac na Mlavi - Newly opened complex in Zdrelo comprises swimming pools, spa center with thermal waters

A unique winter aqua park with thermal water was opened within the recreational and catering center Zdrelo shortly before the New Year's Eve. The red ribbon was cut by Radisa Dragojevic, mayor of the municipality of Petrovac na Mlavi, and Milance Acimovic, president of the Town Hall.

By the way, this complex at a mineral spring in the village of Zdrelo - on the road from Petrovac to Zagubica - was opened five years ago, after the completion of the first phase of construction. In addition to a restaurant with an open-air section, this complex today comprises a hotel with a fitness center, sauna, solarium and steam bath, and there is also an aqua park, outdoor and indoor swimming pools, spa center with tubs, sauna and solarium. Swimming pools are connected with the brick building by a "warm tunnel", so that the guests are always protected from cold.

- We are going to offer our accommodation units to both regular tourists and athletes because there is no suitable accommodation for the latter in Petrovac - said Dragisa Milojevic, who financed the construction and furnishing of the complex from its own sources.

The thermal spring in Zdrelo officially cures rheuma, skin and locomotor diseases, and it was discovered by accident, 25 years ago - when the land was drilled for for oil and coal.
