Ten European companies entered race for "Mobi 63", names of those who met the requirements from the tender will be known prior to May 19, 2006

The statements of interest in procurement of company "Mobi 63", heir to "Mobtel", as well as the other licenses for mobile telephony services were submitted by 10 companies.

The Commission for realization of procedure for sale of "Mobi 63" and other licenses opened, on May 15, 2006, in the premises of the Privatization Agency of Serbia, the bids of the following companies: "Mobilkom Austria", "Discount Investment Corporation Ltd" from Israel, "Tele2" from Sweden, "France telekom" from France, "Orascom telekom" from Egypt, "Deutsche telekom" from Germany, "Emirates telecommunication corporation" from Abu Dabi, "Teli soner" from Sweden, "OJSC MTS" from Moscow and "Telenor" from Norway.

Prior to May 19, 2006, the Commission will announce the names of the companies who met the requirements from the public invitation.
