Pornographic domain on Internet still without support

European Commission accused USA of political intervening on the occasion of the decision making in the System of Internet addresses, which rejected proposal for introduction of the domain for pornography.

The Board for regulation of international domain names ICANN, with the headquarters in USA, rejected the proposal for introduction of "XXX" domain for pornographic material, although formal making of such decision was postponed back in 2005, which caused international critics of Washington.

However, those in favor of the aforementioned idea persistently point out that that would make it much easier for getting pornography limited to only six web sites or filtering of these sites, although few conservative religious groups think that that would equal legalization of porn industry.
