Popovic: Most favorable gas price for Serbia agreed in Russia

The most favorable gas price for Serbia has been agreed in Russia and this will enable for us an even stronger economic growth and attracting new foreign investments, stated Nenad Popovic, the minister without a portfolio in the Government of Serbia in charge of international economic cooperation and the social position of the church in the country and abroad, who visited Moscow as a member of Serbia’s delegation led by the president of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, on the occasion of the marking of the 80th anniversary of the Victory Day.

As Popovic added, steps for further cooperation have also been agreed in a range of important fields - from energy, through trade, to new technologies, which, as he assessed, will undoubtedly provide a boost to development.

During the meeting with the Chinese president, he pointed out, China’s support to the further development of Serbia in sectors of key interest to our country was emphasized, in which China can realistically help and give a concrete contribution, Popovic said.
