Belgrade to host international artificial intelligence festival AI Week in June

From June 2 to 10, AI Week will be held in Belgrade. During those eight days, Belgrade will host experts coming from all parts of the continent, in order to cast light, together with local partners, on the future in which AI is no longer just a potential – but a reality which is already now shaping the technological, business and social landscapes.

AI Week will deepen this focus with 20 events which include one two-day conference, two hackatons and over 30 lectures, which will take place in various locations throughout Belgrade, with over a thousand expected visitors from Serbia and the region.

The festival is open to the public, and, as partners from the community, 20 organizations from the field of innovations, as well as companies, are taking part, jointly shaping the program of the festival and the future of the local AI ecosystem.

– The application of artificial intelligence is a big opportunity for the local IT industry and all the professionals who do their job using a computer. This is a huge technological change, the kind of which happens once in 100 years, where the players who enter the field early can achieve enormous results – stated Vukasin Stojkov, the founder of Startit, which organizes this festival.
