Possible cooperation between Trstenik-based Kocna Tehnika and Russia's Kamaz in 2012

A delegation of the company Prva Petoletka Trstenik (PPT) has returned from an official visit to the factory Kamaz in Russian Federation, where members of the delegation spoke to representatives of the Russian giant about expansion of business cooperation and new contracts for the year 2012, the company said in a statement.

As the statement reads, aside from maintaining traditionally good business relations with Petoletka's factories Servoupravljaci, Hidraulika and Cilindri, Kamaz also expressed interest in establishing cooperation with the factory Kocna Tehnika, with which it worked earlier. Kamaz is particularly interested in the brake systems it used to buy from that PPT's factory.

- One of the main tasks of our visit was to make Kocna Tehnika a supplier to Kamaz again. They have a good will, and it is up to us to use that chance. Considering our technical capacities, we will do our best to respond to their requests. We want the product portfolio and technology of Prva Petoletka to regain its old reputation at Kamaz, as well as in the Russian market in general. Negotiations with this Russian company will continue in the near future - said PPT Director General Zoran Veselinovic.

It was also announced that representatives of the two companies had agreed to execute the existing contracts until late March 2012. Their value on an annual basis exceeds EUR 6 million, but it will be increased because the needs of Kamaz have grown larger, reads the statement.
