Application for vouchers for vacation in Serbia

At the counters of the Post of Serbia, the application for tourist vouchers for subsidized vacations of the citizens who want to spend their annual leave in Serbia begins tomorrow. The Decree on the Allocation of Tourist Vouchers, adopted by the Government of Serbia, envisages the distribution of 30,000 vouchers in the first cycle, whose individual value will amount to RSD 10,000, the Ministry of Tourism and Youth announced earlier.

It is specified that the application of citizens for the use of the vouchers will begin tomorrow at 8 AM, at the counters of the Post of Serbia.

From April 11, the registration of the hospitality facilities which are interested in participating in the system of the allocation of vouchers is available, through the E-tourist system, and they may apply throughout the period of the duration of the voucher allocation campaign.

The right to vouchers belongs to pensioners, students, the unemployed, beneficiaries of custodial care and assistance, disabled veterans, beneficiaries of family disability pension per fallen serviceman, owners of agricultural properties, persons older than 65 who do not realize the right to a pension, as well as employees with earnings of up to RSD 80,000 a month.

The vouchers can be used in the duration of at least five overnight stays outside the town, municipality, that is, the place of residence, as well as the place of studying of the user of the voucher.

The value of a voucher of RSD 10,000 is the maximum amount that one user can use once during a calendar year for a subsidized use of accommodation services in hospitality facilities, regardless of the value of the provided accommodation service.

The final deadline for the use of vacation vouchers in Serbia is November 20 this year.
