Company "Victoria group", investor in future bio-diesel factory in Šid, already sold entire annual production to buyers from Germany

The decision on the construction of the first and the biggest bio-diesel factory in the Balkans in Šid was made by "Victoria group" at the right time and at the right place.

Srem is suitable for bio-diesel factory, because the inhabitants of Srem are specialized for the production oilseed rape, soybean and sunflower, which are the basic raw materials that will be used by the future factory.

The factory is built on over 2,000 ares, next to the very source of raw materials and oil factory "Mladost", of which owner is also the contractor for the construction of bio-diesel factory - "Sojaprotein". The investment amounts to 15m EUR and the foundations of the new factory have been built recently.

- Opening of the new bio-diesel factory will be of benefit to the citizens of Šid, because about 100 people will get jobs. The future factory will be producing 100,000 tons of bio-diesel per year. It is expected that that factory will be completed by the end of the year 2007. The Germans will install their high-quality machines and investor "Victoria group" has already sold complete annual production to the Germans - Mayor of Municipality of Šid, Mita Avramov, explains.
