Kragujevac in final stage of process of obtaining BFC SEE certificate

As part of the continuation of the certification process according to the BFC SEE standard, which defines the criteria for establishing a favorable business environment in towns and municipalities of Southeast Europe, the city of Kragujevac hosted a two-day evaluation visit by an expert team.

During this visit, the members of the evaluation team held a series of meetings with representatives of the City Administration, the Office for Local Economic Development, members of the Certification Team, as well as with businessmen and representatives of relevant institutions. The goal of the meetings was a detailed evaluation of the fulfillment of the criteria and sub-criteria of the BFC SEE standard, through direct discussions and insight into the applied practices and mechanisms for supporting the economy at the local level, the City of Kragujevac announced.

The presence of key people from different sectors of the city of Kragujevac provides a comprehensive review of progress in establishing conditions for economic development, which represents the final stage in the process of obtaining this important regional certificate.

Certification according to the BFC SEE standard is a recognized sign of quality for local governments that create a stimulating, transparent and predictable business environment, and indicates to potential investors a high level of business support and management efficiency at the local level.
