Upon completion of the takeover of SBB, Telekom Srbija and PPF, which is the owner of Yettel, got new content on their cable systems. The Telekom Serbia company bought certain rights, licenses and other assets from the United Group connected to the Sport Club channels for the territory of the Western Balkans. Telekom also acquired Net TV Plus from United Group, which broadcasts programs for the diaspora market, as well as satellite television Total TV in Serbia and North Macedonia.

Vladimir Lučić, CEO of Telekom Srbija, pointed out for RTS that Telekom Srbija and PPF owned by Abu Dhabi-based Etisalat, completed the purchase of parts of SBB, so the PPF group took over SBB's cable channels and Telekom Total TV and the rights to broadcast sports competitions that were transferred from Sport Club to Arena Sport.

- Total TV was integrated into the SBB system and in the next few months it will be transferred to Telekom Serbia - Lučić adds.

He states that they have an agreement with the SBB company for the first phase to provide some services for Telekom, such as call center, customer support, so that recent SBB users would notice this transition as little as possible until the moment it becomes a part of Telekom. He said that the day before yesterday the transaction was completed and that Telekom Srbija, PPF and Etisalat took over all services from SBB, pointing out that users now have a complete sports offer on Arena Sport channels.

He also pointed out that RTS thematic channels are available to everyone from now on since they have agreed on this with the new owner of SBB. Speaking of Net TV plus and Total TV services
which are primarily aimed at the diaspora, Lučić says that the users there will also get a better service. Through this transaction, Telekom gained more than a hundred thousand new users in the diaspora and that the company's intention is to expand and that in the markets of Austria, Germany and Switzerland, they will have their own branches in all the cities where there are our citizens.

According to him, Telekom Srbija's expansion strategy is strong production of movies and series and other content which will be offered to various platforms and through its own fund, it will finance digital services that it will try to export. He emphasized that Telekom Srbija will seek new sources of income through IT services, Cyber Security and that a platform similar to Netflix is in the pipeline.

- Starting next month, Telekom will actively promote its platform that will be similar to Netflix and which will trigger the transition from channel to platform - says Lučić and adds that users can expect new movies and series.
