Well-known European hotel chain Leonardo Hotels is planning to come to Serbia

The famous European hotel chain Leonardo Hotels Central Europe, based in Berlin, is planning expansion across Europe, with a special focus on France, Scandinavia, Serbia and Croatia.

The company has targeted an average annual growth of 10%. In the past three years, according to Vice President for Development Jan Herring, they have expanded their portfolio to more than 40 hotels and are about to position themselves as a leading hotel player on the European market.

Leonardo hotels are part of the Israeli Fattal Hotels Group.

They manage a portfolio of 110 hotels in ten European countries: Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Poland, Czech Republic, Hungary, Romania, Spain, Italy and France, and we are talking about the brands Leonardo Hotels, Leonardo Boutique Hotels, Leonardo Royal Hotels, NYX Hotels and Leonardo Limited Edition.

Which one of these brands could come to Serbia, the company is not disclosing for now, but states that the focus of its business is investments in NYX Hotels and Leonardo Limited Edition hotels.

As explained by Yoram Bitton, the company's general manager, the Limited Edition presents an exclusive collection of extraordinary hotels, which can boast of a separate history and individual style,

while NYX Hotels is a brand with metropolitan chic, aimed at young travelers.

Last year Leonardo Hotels, as the company announced, secured an investment of EUR 419 million through the Fattal Partnership III fund, resulting in the acquisition of 23 hotels across the Netherlands, France, Spain, Italy, Germany, Ireland and the United Kingdom, in the value of around EUR 604 million.

In the Netherlands alone, in July 2024, they bought 12 hotels for around EUR 370 million.
