All preconditions met for more serious participation of Hungarian investors in commercial projects on territory of Serbia

Signing of the Protocol and Rule Book on Work ended the meeting of the Joint Commission for Economic Cooperation of SCG and Hungary in Belgrade. This was the first meeting that was held on the basis of the new Agreement on economic cooperation between the two countries.
ACcording to the estimates of Hungarian delegation, the market and the potentials of SCG are favorable environment for foreign investors and one of the primary motives of Hungarian investors is the free trade zone in southeast Europe.
Both sides expressed wish to improve the economic relations, especially through higher forms of cooperation, such as joint investments and participation of Hungarian investors in privatization process in SCG. Hungarian delegation has already announced participation in some concrete projects, such as participation of “MOL” company in the privatization of Petroleum Industry of Serbia, the intention for procurement of hotels, etc.
