The city administration of Novi Pazar has made the plan for the northwest bypass around the city available for early public inspection, and citizens and experts can submit their comments and suggestions until March 25, according to "Sto Plus" radio.

The planned corridor of the northwest bypass around Novi Pazar will extend from the intersection with the future expressway to Kraljevo and the main road to Raska, through the intersection with the old Raska road, then proceed west along the edges of the hill, bypassing houses and the Dezevski put district, to the intersection with the road leading to Odvracenica (Golija).

The bypass will then continue west, intersect Boturovina, and afterwards descend through the valley north of Vrbolaze and across Vidovo to Dojevici, where it will connect with the main road leading to Sjenica.

The length of this section is 12.8 kilometers and is routed through mountainous terrain with an altitude of 475 to 710 meters.

The largest part of the bypass is located in the Spatial Plan of the cultural and historical entity of Stari Ras with Sopocani, which includes Djurdjevi stupovi and Petrova crkva, as well as sites with archaeological content.
