Another electric car will be produced in Serbia – "Citroen C3" arrives in Kragujevac

In addition to the Fiat Grande Panda, another new car brand and model will be manufactured in Kragujevac – the assembly of the electric Citroen C3 has begun, according to the report by Radio Television Serbia (RTS). At the same time, the International Automobile Fair is starting in Belgrade; it will last until March 26, with over 400 exhibitors.

Stellantis, a group that incorporates several car brands such as Fiat, Citroen, Peugeot, Opel and Jeep, is the majority owner of the car factory in Kragujevac. Due to its capacity and versatility, the factory will assemble not only the new Fiat Panda, RTS has learned from its sources.

Namely, the offer of electric vehicles is expanding – it has been officially confirmed that in the electric Citroen C3 will also be produced in Kragujevac, in addition to the Fiat Panda, with which it shares the platform.

Zoran Buric, on behalf of Stellantis, said that they received official confirmation from the group and that they are happy that the "Citroen C3" is coming to Serbia.

- We believe that this will help electrification with decent prices, compared to what was the case so far - emphasizes Buric.
