From March 14, those subject to the payment of the fees for environmental protection have at their disposal the e-Takse (e-Fees) system, announced the Ministry of Environmental Protection.

Through this system, precise monitoring and control of the payment of fees is enabled, including: fees for polluting the environment (except for emissions of SO2, NO2, powdered matters and waste), fees for products which become special waste flows after use, fees for packaging or packed products which become packaging waste, as well as fees for water pollution.

The e-Takse system enables electronic submission of bills through the eSanduce (eMailbox) platform, following which payments are made. The collection of payments is monitored based on the registered payments to the designated public revenue accounts, with the monitoring of the dynamics and the amount of payments by taxpayers and bill numbers.

All the information about accessing and using the system are available in the User’s Manual, which can be downloaded from the official platform of the Ministry.
