A new product of the company Baldacchino has put this Italian manufacturer on the very top of the global market. It is a bed worth as much as EUR 4 million.

The world's most expensive bed, under the name of Baldacchino Supreme, is made of chestnut and ash wood, and it boasts 107 kg of solid 24ct gold along with small decorative applications in gold leaf detail and the headboard in capitonnè. The fabric used is Italian silk and cotton with “no burn” certification.

This Italian manufacturer is famous for its luxury and comfortable beds, and the company's production is supervised by the famous furniture designer Stuart Hughes.

Before Baldacchino Supreme was launched, the world's most expensive bed had been a EUR 1.2 million magnetic floating bed designed by a Dutch architect.
