Operating costs of companies grow more than income in final quarter of last year

According to the preliminary data, operating income in non-financial business economy in the Republic of Serbia in the fourth quarter of 2024 increased by 6.3 % relative to the same period of the previous year, while compared to the third quarter of 2024, the increase of 9.2% was noted, announced the Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia.

In the Information and Communication Sector, operating income were increased by 11.6% relative to the same period of the previous year, while compared to the third quarter of 2024, the increase of 25.5% was noted.

Operating costs in non-financial business economy in the fourth quarter of 2024 increased by 7.8% relative to the same period of the previous year, while compared to the third quarter of 2024, the increase of 10.6% was noted.

In the Information and Communication Sector, operating costs were increased by 11.4% relative to the same period of the previous year, while compared to the third quarter of 2024, the increase of 25.9% was noted.
