The auditing and consulting company EY (Ernst & Young) last night in Belgrade, at a traditional gala dinner at the Hyatt Hotel, handed out awards to the most successful entrepreneurs in Serbia. The prestigious EY Entrepreneur 2024 award went to Dr Natasa Zlataric and Dr Nenad Zlataric, the founders and owners of the Euromedik healthcare system.

The award was presented to the winners by the chairman of the independent jury Darko Budec and Ivan Rakic, Managing Partner of the EY company for the CESA Central cluster region; Managing Partner of EY for Serbia, Montenegro & Bosnia and Herzegovina.

– We want to express our great pleasure for the fact that we managed to receive this prestigious recognition in such tough competition. Big thanks to the great organization that is a model of quality and successful entrepreneurial work with respect for all possible entrepreneurial standards. Additionally, we would like to thank all the contestants of this year’s cycle of the EY Entrepreneur of the Year Program, who will also be a great inspiration for future business ventures – pointed out Dr Natasa Zlataric and Dr Nenad Zlataric, representing the Euromedik health system, EY Entrepreneurs of 2024.

In addition to the main award, the auditing and consulting company EY also handed out awards in the subcategory EY Fast-Growing Entrepreneur of the Year, which for 2024 went to Dubravka Bjekic, representing the company PaySpot, and recognition in the subcategory EY Innovative Entrepreneur of the Year was awarded to Miodrag and Biljana Tomic & Marija Vulicevic, representing the company Desing.

Euromedik is the largest private healthcare system in Serbia, founded in 2002 with the aim of providing users with the highest quality medical service by leading specialists and subspecialists from almost all areas of medicine, with the use of the most modern and certified medical equipment. After the completion of specialization, the married couple Dr Nenad Zlataric and Dr Natasa Zlataric founded a private health institution in the rank of a polyclinic, registered as an entrepreneurial business. Today, Euromedik has between 6 and 7 thousand patients per day, and at the end of 2024, in a total of 17 institutions, the total number of examinations exceeded 1,630,000.

As the recipients of the EY Entrepreneur of the Year award in 2024, Dr Natasa Zlataric and Dr Nenad Zlataric will represent the Republic of Serbia at the World EY Entrepreneur of the Year selection in June in Monte Carlo.

In addition to the national winners of the program, the decision of the independent jury included the following entrepreneurs among this year’s finalists: Perica Cudic (EWE Comp), Budimir Jovanovic (Keramika Jovanovic), Aleksandar Djordjević (Pinoles), Sasa Stanic (Stanic), and representatives of the company Tri O - Sasa Orlovic, Aleksandra Orlovic Ljamic and Katarina Petkovic.

The EY Entrepreneur of the Year program in Serbia is part of a global program that is held in more than 60 countries around the world. The winners of the national competition will represent Serbia at the prestigious global final in Monte Carlo in June 2025, where they will compete for the title of EY World Entrepreneur of the Year.

The Mobility Partner of this year’s EY Entrepreneur of the Year Program is Star Import, and Raiffeisen Bank is the sponsor of the gala evening again this year.
