Expansion of Industrial Zone in Vrsac announced

The Government of Serbia will, through the Ministry of Economy, finance the expansion of the Industrial Zone in Vrsac, considering that the existing capacities are filled out and that new space is needed. This news was announced by the minister of economy of Serbia, Adrijana Mesarovic, during her visit to Vrsac.

– We will continue a further infrastructural equipping, that is, secure the financing of the construction of the power system, the construction of a connection to the first-grade state road, as well as the missing infrastructure, and thereby complete the infrastructural equipping in order to be ready to welcome new investors, the opening of new production facilities and the employment of citizens of Vrsac – said the minister, as announced on the website of the ministry.

The Industrial Zone North is located outside the building area of Vrsac, around five kilometers from the city, toward Plandiste, an undeveloped municipality, for which the new zone is also a big developmental opportunity. The new highway through south Banat will also pass close to this Industrial Zone.
