On more than 7,000 ha on slopes of Homolje Mountains, Ziman wind farm of 180 MW to be built – Company Zora Energy planning installation of 26 wind generators

The company Zora Energy plans to build the Ziman wind farm with a power of 180 MW in the territory of the municipality of Kucevo, as can be seen from the study for the early public review of the Detailed Regulation Plan.

The territory covered by this plan is located in the southeast part of the municipality of Kucevo and takes up parts of the cadastral municipalities of Glozane, Neresnica and Bukovska. The border encompasses an area of roughly 7,385 ha.

The location on which the wind farm is planned features forest and agricultural land, in public ownership of the Republic of Serbia or private ownership, and partially building land. Several uncategorized roads, which belong to public purpose surfaces, that is, building land, pass through the area covered by the plan.

The Ziman wind farm, according to the document, is planned on hilly terrain, and the wind farm area is defined “with respect to the potentials of the wind, the topographic characteristics, at a sufficient distance from populated area and outside the areas of cultural and protected natural goods.”

Within the area of the wind farm, the plan is to install around 26 wind generator columns, with a power of around 180 MW at the point of connection to the transmission network. The final solution will be determined in the phase of the preparation of the draft planning document.

The columns with wind generators, including their blades, will reach the height of 250 meters, and the diameter of the blades will be up to 190 meters.

The plan was prepared by Arhiplan from Arandjelovac, and the early public review lasts until February 25.
