First investor coming to Cicevac – Company Univerexport to invest EUR 15 million in big logistics center for east, central and west Serbia

The Municipality of Cicevac has sold 12 ha of land in the location of the future industrial zone to the first investor.

– Recently, we have sold 12 hectares to an interested investor and that means a lot for our municipality in the sense that the money from the sale of this land is paid to our budget and, of course, we will use it for the best purpose possible: for infrastructural projects, for what are priorities of our municipality. EUR 15 million will be invested in the construction of facilities and, in three years, they will employ 150 workers – says Mirjana Krkic, the president of the municipality of Cicevac.

As planned, an industrial zone is to be formed between Cicevac and Varvarin in close proximity to the Morava Corridor.

– The investor is Sigma Line, they bought the land and they will carry out the works and raise a fantastic and beautiful facility, in fact, the company which will work here and operate in the territory of the municipality of Cicevac in this industrial zone is Univerexport from Novi Sad. Here will be a big logistics center for this entire part of Serbia, east, central, west Serbia. From here, all the goods will be distributed to their markets and the shopping centers they have – points out Aleksandar Sulic, the deputy president of the Municipality of Cicevac.
