Solomon Islands and Vanuatu confirm participation in EXPO 2027 Belgrade

Solomon Islands and the Republic of Vanuatu have confirmed their participation in the specialized exhibition EXPO 2027 (EXPO), which will be held in Belgrade with the theme “Play for Humanity: Sports and Music for All”, the company EXPO 2027 announced.

Those two island states in the southern part of the Pacific Ocean have been regular participants in international exhibitions since the Specialized Exhibition EXPO 1985 in Tsukuba, and in 2007 they became members of the International Bureau for Exhibitions (Bureau International des Expositions - BIE).

– We are extremely happy and proud that in 2027, in Belgrade, we will be able to see and experience interpretations of dance, sports and music from all parts of the planet, including those that are geographically farthest from us. We are sure that our friends from Vanuatu and Solomon Islands will prepare a unique cultural program that will revive the specific spirit of the distant Pacific in the heart of Europe – pointed out the director of the company EXPO 2027, Dusan Borovcanin.
