Expropriation for construction of second subway line in Zemun and New Belgrade begins

The project is implemented in line with the General Regulation Plan of the Rail Systems in Belgrade, which includes a detailed development of the route of the second line of the subway system.
The City of Belgrade is determined as the beneficiary of the expropriation.
As eKapija wrote before, the border of the first station of the second line of the subway system encompasses the section from the depot in Bezanijska Kosa to the Mercator subway station, including the depot and the station.
The subway line 2 is planned on the Bezanija Depot-Mirijevo stretch, around 24 km long, with a total of 24 stations.
The second subway line is planned on the following route: Bezanija Depot-Marka Celebonovica Street-Clinical Hospital Center Bezanijska Kosa-Zemun Rail Station-Zemun Novi grad-Ugrinovacka Street-Filipa Visnjica Street-Zemun Stadium-City Park-Dzona Kenedija Street-Municipality of New Belgrade-Mercator-Arena-Sava centar-Block 18-Sava Square-Manjez-Makenzijeva Street-Juzni Blvd-Grcica Milenka Street-Vojislava Ilica Street-Zvezdara Green Market-Mite Ruzica Street-Ustanicka Street-Mirijevo.
