Hungarian retail chain to come to Serbia, first locations in Vojvodina

The Hungarian Family Market Group is to enter the Serbian retail market.

The branch of the Hungarian trade company which was founded at the end of last year in Serbia is starting operations and the opening of the first retail stores. According to the findings of the Retail Serbia portal, the first Family markets will soon be opened in several locations in Vojvodina.

When asked by Retail Serbia, the Serbian branch of the Hungarian company neither wanted to confirm nor deny the information about the entrance to the Serbian retail market. Family Market Group was founded in 1998 in Kecskemet and operates in several dozen locations throughout Hungary.

According to the company’s website, this retailer also operates through the wholesale sector and the franchise network of its partners in several regions.
