The minister of economy, Adrijana Mesarovic, stated that representatives of the Chinese car manufacturer Geely would visit Serbia in March to continue talks on a possible investment in our country.

During a meeting in Hangzhou, Mesarovic, as she stated, spoke with Shen Yuan, the company's vice president and chief technical officer.

Geely, the first Chinese automotive brand with 10 million vehicles sold, has held the position of the best-selling Chinese brand in the passenger vehicle market for the past five years.

The meeting was also an opportunity to discuss the company's participation in Expo 2027 in Belgrade, Mesarovic wrote on her Instagram account.

Geely is one of the largest Chinese companies involved in the production of cars and the automotive industry. It was founded in 1986 and was first focused on the production of coolers, and it switched to the automotive sector in 1997.

Today, Geely is one of the largest private car manufacturers in China.
