Three foreign buyers interested in procurement of "Kredi banka" from Kragujevac, whole business should be ended by Autumn 2006

Three foreign banks are interested in privatization of Kragujevac-based "Kredi banka", which owns 40 offices and branches all around Serbia. Two of the interested banks are not present on the banking market in Serbia yet.
However, Vladislav Cvetković, the councillor for privatization in the Agency for Insurance of Deposit, Rehabilitation, Bankruptcy and Liquidation of Banks, did not want to reveal the names of the banks.
The main reason for that is that National Bank of Serbia should first give agreement, i.e. approval to the aforementioned banks to enter process of privatization of the biggest bank in Šumadija.
Privatization of "Kredi banka", which is in the majority ownership of the State, should be ended by Autumn 2006.
