International School in Belgrade opens new building of secondary school and gymnasium

In the presence of news reporters and high officials of the Republic of Serbia and the US Embassy, one of the oldest international schools in Belgrade has ceremoniously opened new classrooms and a gymnasium.
On that occasion, Ambassador of the USA to Belgrade Mary Warlick said: "As a parent of a former student of this school, I personally can say that the feeling of togetherness is one of the best aspects of this institution."
- With events ranging from excellent theater plays, sports and academic competitions, to Halloween parties, the diversity of the International School is reflected not only in the nationalities of its students, but also in the variety of talents they bring to the community.
The International School in Belgrade has so far been attended by thousands of students. This school today has 374 students of 30 different nationalities, 25% of whom are from Serbia. The International School is a member of many associations, including the European Council of International Schools and the Association of Schools of Central and East Europe.
