Tax Administration launches virtual tax officer for easier access to information

In order to improve its services and facilitate the availability of information to taxpayers, the Tax Administration has opened a new communication channel – a virtual tax officer - chatbot, which is available through the official website of the Tax Administration, the institution announced.

As explained, the virtual tax officer is an interactive tool that allows taxpayers to quickly and easily obtain general information from the Law on Tax Procedure and Tax Administration and the Law on Personal Income Tax.

- This communication channel is designed to provide taxpayers with support in finding relevant information, but it is important to emphasize that this information is for informational purposes only, and is not binding nor can it replace legal opinion or advice in specific tax situations. We invite all taxpayers to take advantage of the new service, which is available 24 hours a day, in order to efficiently obtain the necessary information - the Tax Administration said, urging users to visit the official website of the Tax Administration or call the Contact Center, which remains the main channel of communication for all issues within the scope of this institution.
