Post of Serbia opens tender for preparation of new website and app

While the workers of the Post of Serbia are protesting, dissatisfied with their position and, in general, the state of this company and its operations, the Post of Serbia, toward the end of 2024, is opening the public procurement procedure for the preparation of a new website and a new mobile device app. RSD 45 million without the VAT is planned to be set aside for that purpose, which is the estimated value of the job.

According to the tendering documentation, the purpose of this project is to create a single system that would encompass a web portal and mobile apps of the procuring entity, with a centralized content management system (CMS) for the Post of Serbia, which will enable an efficient management of the features of the main website of the Post of Serbia and its accompanying presentation sub-sites (parcel locker, Postexpress, PTT Museum, Post Certification Body, 100 Business Women, Post Office Chess Club) and mobile apps.

¬- The system is supposed to simplify the management, while on the other hand enabling an improvement and development of e-services. The future system should enable a simpler maintenance and updating of content from one central place, which will enable the consistency of information and an easier administration of all the content related to the procuring entity. It is noted that e-shop websites are to remain independent and retain their existing infrastructure on the WordPress platform. The new system should provide for the users a modern and uniform environment, the consistency of information, the personalization of the content, improved communication with the procuring entity and a simpler use of app solutions – it is pointed out in the documentation.

Bids may be submitted by January 31.
