EUR 2.98 million of state subsidies for Chinese company Haitian Machinery for facility in Ruma

The Chinese company Haitian Machinery Serbia, which produces machines for the production of plastic and rubber, registered in Ruma, has received EUR 2.98 million in incentives for the construction and equipping of the facility for the production of machines for the injection of plastic in Ruma.

The agreement that the company has signed with the Ministry of Economy of Serbia says that, with the implementation of this project, at least EUR 56.4 million will be invested in material and non-material assets by the end of 2024, and at least 40 new workers will be employed for an indefinite period of time by the end of 2027.

The company was founded in Serbia on April 27, 2022, and at the moment of the filing of the application for the allocation of funds, it had no employees.

The company has also obliged by contract to pay basic salaries which are (at least 20%) higher than the minimum wage after it employs 40 people.

Also, students and a certain number of pupils will be able to attend practice at the seat of this company.
