First facility in German factory PWO in Cacak to be launched in spring

The first part of the facility of the German factory PWO in the industrial zone Preljina will be opened in April, announced the mayor of Cacak, Milun Todorovic.

As he said, this company already has 37 employees in Cacak.

– Last week, at my office, I had a meeting with the directors of the company PWO from Germany and with new directors from Serbia. They plan to install the first operating machine in February, to test it, and to open the first part of the facility as soon as at the end of April. That is truly an enormous investment, around EUR 100 million will be invested in the business zone in Preljina – stated the mayor of Cacak.

PWO produces motor vehicle parts and equipment. The group operates in the metal industry sector and has facilities for the production of components for the automotive industry in Germany, the Czech Republic, Mexico and Canada.

According to the plan, in the first wave, in the Cacak factory, around 500 workers will be employed, and at the full capacity, there will be 800 of them.
