Invitation opened for including local companies in supply chains of multinational corporations

The Development Agency of Serbia (DAS) has opened the Public Invitation for Participation in the Program of Support to Companies for Entering Supply Chains of Multinational Companies. This multi-year program aims to strengthen the business capacities of local business entities so that they would become suppliers of large multinational companies or expand the existing cooperation with them.

Applications for the program are open until December 12, 2024, and last until February 10, 2025. A total of RSD 180 million is set aside for the realization of the program, whereas the maximum amount of grants per individual business entity is RSD 23 million.

Support through various measures

The program encompasses three key fields of support:

• Investments in material property, including the procurement of production equipment, tools and quality control devices.
• Certification and software solutions, as well as the financing of the preparation of prototypes, costs of listing on interactive platforms and insurance.
• Consulting support, which pertains to the improvement of corporate management, ESG reporting and the optimization of HR policy.

Right of participation

Product-oriented companies which meet the general terms, such as being registered at the SBRA, financial stability and settled tax obligations, as well as specific technical, business, HR and financial capacities defined in the program, may apply for participation in the program.

Local companies which meet these conditions can considerably improve their business operations through certification, procurement of equipment and connecting with international business partners.
