Project of construction of golf course in Davidovica and Silopaj presented in municipality of Gornji Milanovac

Gornji Milanovac should get golf courses, and ahead of that, at this municipality, a meeting was held with the topic of the construction of those courses in Silopaj on an area of 123 hectares. That will be one of the most well-developed golf courses in the region, as announced by the cabinet of Dejan Kovacevic, the president of the municipality of Gornji Milanovac.

– After several years of hard work and search for somebody who will prepare a full project of a golf course in the area of Davidovica and Silopaj, we have managed to complete it together with our French partners. The architect Yacine Sail has truly invested a lot of effort and money in order for us to get to the current project. This project did not cost the municipality of Gornji Milanovac a single dinar, they invested their money in order to be able to showcase to us here what it would look like once it’s built. What I am especially happy about is that all the people from the Silopaj area who attended the presentation today are truly more than satisfied with the project itself. As they told us, there will be no problem with the buyout of the land – said Kovacevic.

– We need 123 hectares to establish the entire complex in that area, not just the courses, but also residential facilities, hotels and other features. We have taken a lot upon ourselves, but I hope that we will succeed in the next five years, which is how long we need from today until the realization of this project. I also hope that we will manage to find investors that will invest in Gornji Milanovac, in the Silopaj area, so that we can build something that doesn’t exist not just in Serbia, but the whole region doesn’t have a complex of that kind. If we complete this in the set period, I believe that, not only Gornji Milanovac, but also Serbia, will benefit a lot, because we will finally be placed on the map of golfers, the world’s richest people, who should visit our area – said the president of the municipality.
