Israel to invest 1 billion USD in Serbia ?

Minister of International Economic Relations of Serbia Milan Parivodić announced that the experts had estimated that Israel-based company could invest up to 1 billion USD in Serbia's market. Parivodić said that, at the meeting of State-economic delegation of Serbia with the vice-president of the Government of Israel, Ehud Olmert, it had been estimated that Srbija should provide business climate that would enable reception of such investment.

According to the words of Parivodić, the contracts have already been established with the representatives of the companies from petrochemical and civil engineering industries, irrigation systems and high-technology industries. In 2004, total exchange of goods between Serbia and Israel amounted to 35.9m USD.
