At yesterday's session, the government of the Republic of Serbia adopted the Bill amending the Law on Privatization, which regulates the conditions and procedure for changing the ownership of social and public capital and property, and the new deadline for completing the privatization is December 31, 2027.

The amendments to the law stipulate that, if the privatization of social capital does not occur within the prescribed period, forced liquidation of those entities will be carried out after the deadline for their privatization has expired, says the website of the Government of Serbia.
