Millennium Team commences works on construction of residential-office block in place of Hotel Jugoslavija

Millennium Team has announced that it has commenced works on the construction of a luxury residential-office block in place of the former Hotel Jugoslavija in New Belgrade.

“The first phase of the preparation of the location” of four months, entailing the demolition of the hotel in order to build “a modern complex, including a high-category hotel,” is in progress.

The complex will feature a luxury hotel with 200 rooms and two “towers” – a residential tower of 42 floors and an office one of 34, whereby neither will be taller than 150 meters.

The project also envisages “a modern pedestrian corridor” which will connect the Nikole Tesle Blvd with the promenade along the Danube, the development of the coastal area and the construction of a marina for passengers and boats.

This project, as said, costs EUR 400 to 500 million, and the plan is for it to be completed by 2027.

In March, Millenium team “took over the location” of the Hotel Jugoslavija by purchasing the company Danube Riverside, with an initial investment of EUR 42 million.
