Vucic visits EXPO construction site: We are late with the stadium by a month and a half to two, but we will make it up

All the piles have been driven at the EXPO construction site and this is incredible progress compared to what I saw a week and a half ago, stated the president of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, who visited the EXPO 2027 construction site in Surcin last night.

– The construction of apartments, 1,500 housing units, is advancing at a rapid pace. It is the biggest construction site in southeast Europe at this moment and there are plenty of workers now – Vucic said on Instagram.

He added that the construction of the National Stadium was late:

– We are late with the stadium by a month and a half to two, but we will make up for it on time.

Vucic announced that he would visit EXPO “at least every seven days.”
