New general director of the company "U.S.Steel Serbia" elected, Fedorenk was replaced by Douglas Matthews

Douglas Matthews has been nominated for the vice president and new general director of the company "U.S.Steel Serbia" d.o.o.

Matthews will take place of the former general director Michael Fedorenk, which has been nominated for the general manager in the iron factory 'Granit city" in the state of Illinois in USA.

The new director of 'U.S.Steel serbia' and other companies within this system, will be on duty from May, 1st, 2006.

Douglas has been up till now a general manager for engineering and technology of high stoves in the company 'U.S.Steel Serbia'. He gratuated electrotechniques in 1987 at the state university of Pennsilvania, and he went to post-graduate studies at the Duckesny University, in 1993, with the major of business administration.

He started working in U.S.Steel in 1988, in the iron factory 'Edgar Tompson'. Quickley he was promoted, and from 1998, he was supervising the production of iron in the ex joint iron factory 'USS-KOBE in Lorain", Ohio, as well as "Gary Works", and in 2003 he was promoted into the manager of department for production of steel in "Gary Works".
