The largest travellers ship in the world "Freedom of the seas" has begun its first cruise

The largest travellers ship in the world "Freedom of the seas" has left on April, 25th, 2006, the port in Hamburg and over Oslo went to USA.

Its basic port will be Miami in Florida, and the ship which would sail under Bahamas flag will mostly serve for one week cruise through Carribeans.

The ship is high 72 meters and has 15 floors, and it is long 339 meters, and wide 56 meters. In 1.817 cabins can be placed even 4.300 passangers, and according to its characteristics it even overpassed its main competition - luxurious touristic ship "Queen Mary 2".

The luxurious ship has 9 meters wide and 112 meters long shopping street, a theatre with 1.350 seats, skating filed, pools on 2.200 m2, box ring, basketball playground and mini field for golf with 9 holes. The guests will have at their service around 1.350 members of staff, and there are also in plan cabins with concert pianos.
