(Pristop) Tax on incomes in Serbia will be 10%, instead of present 14%, by the beginning of 2007?

Minister of commerce of Serbia, Predrag Bubalo announced that tax on incomes from the beginning of 2007 will be decreased from 14 to 10%.
-We are seriously considering and making calculations to reduce tax on incomes from 14 to 10%, in order to bring a total payment per emploee for 100 dinars of paid income with around 70 dinars to 60, said Bubalo.
Bubalo said that the Government of Serbia, in this year has had 80 millions eur for credits to small and middle sized enterprises which would llow openning of 18.000 new job places. Minister of commerce estimated that textile industry in Serbia is in a "phase of clinical death", but to the revitalization of textile industry would contribute also privatization of those companies.
-In this year, 35 textile companies would be on auction, and as soon as by the end of next week will be published a tender for sale of Nis factory Niteks - said Bubalo.
Regarding the request of textile emploees for dicrease of imported textile from China and other markets, he said that this question of textile import could not ne banned nor fought against by increasing the customs fees.
-We cannot do things opposite of our entrance to the World trade organization (WTO), but there can be introduced stronger control of the quality of imported goods, comissioned one and the one sold on the grey market - said Bubalo and announced that there were in prepairation measures for solving of those problems.
