Enel PS, Minel Shreder, Amiga present solar public lighting system

At the recently held Energy Fair in Belgrade, the company Enel PS presented a solar LED system whose purpose is to light parks, pedestrian zones, roads, bus stops, and parking lots.
This system is a product of the cooperation between companies Minel Shreder from Belgrade, Amiga from Kraljevo and Enel PS from Belgrade, and it is comprised of the following: LED lamps, solar power supply equipment, and a pole for installing the components.
The solar LED system is exclusively powered by solar energy (no supply from the electric grid), and it is completely autonomous. The system is designed to be in use during the whole year (even in the winter period when the number of sunny days is very small). LED lamps are turned on and off at the time defined in advance (as desired by the end-user), and it is also possible to install a motion detector.
Such solution was already implemented in Podgorica in March 2011.
