A1 Srbija to acquire Conexio Metro

A1 Srbija has announced the acquisition of 100% shares of Conexio Metro. The finalization of the transaction depends on the approval of the relevant supervisory organs. With this takeover, A1 Srbija will acquire 300 kilometers of optical-fiber cables, which will enable access to over 42,000 households, primarily in New Belgrade, the company announces.

The aim of A1 Srbija is to start providing services on its own optical-fiber cable networks by 2025, and this acquisition, as they say, will enable a considerable expansion of the network and the use of the existing infrastructure.

Conexio Metro d.o.o. is a newly formed company extracted from Conexio d.o.o.
