"Heba" is worth at least 50 millions eur

Privatization of "Heba", as suggested in this factory of mineral water, should be ended this summer.

One of the most successfull companies in Bujanovac and Pcinjski county will be sold by tender.

"Heba" has started its privatization even 4 years ago, and up till now it has been accounted that its capital should buy off its emploees which is the most acceptable solution, considering all circumstances, especially regarding the location of the Factory. The company has been prepairing for it for a long time, but obviously in the last minute it was given up the idea of the workers' consortium.

The general director of "Heba", Perica Jovic, announced new evaluation of the company's property - by the one already done in 2003, it was worth (by the books) around 10 millions eur, and if taken in consideration all investments and social programs, close to 50 millions eur.

Bujanovac Factory, according to the words of the President of the Managers' board, Miodrag Trajkovic, is increasing its production, profits and incomes according to its plans. It has left behind a development program of around 30 millions eur: investments in new drill-holes, new lines for creation of water and juices. filtration of water, expansion of assortiment, laboratory, computer system, driving park, and also funds for the redecoration of the factory's surroundings. Special attention was given to the quality and design of the products for which they received highest fair acknowledgements. Director Jovic adds that the workers have given up of 5 millions eur in the last 5 years, planned for their standard, for the benefit of investments. "Heba" is with 550 emploees, amont the largest companies in the region. In the last year "Heba" produced and placed close to 60 millions bottles of water and juices.

This year it is being planned to have at least 5% more of the bottled water and non-lacoholic drinks, and especially attention would be given to export. They believe that tender will be successfull and the new majority owner, doesn't take debts of "Heba", as its doesn't have them, which is very rare in the privatization cases in the county. However, it still needs the effort to be paid for all accounts which are being realized very slow because of the known non-liquidity of the domestic commerce.
