Business Innovation Center Kragujevac opens public call “From Idea to Startup”

The Business Innovation Center Kragujevac, one of the members of the Innovation Community of Sumadija and Western Serbia, has opened the public call “From Idea to Startup”, intended for individuals and teams who want to develop innovations, as well as startup companies in the initial phase of development.

The objectives of the Public Call are to raise the level of knowledge about business development and commercialization of innovative ideas in Kragujevac/Sumadija District, starting and developing your own business based on innovative ideas, creating and developing new innovative products, services and processes with the potential for growth and employment, as well as creating a larger number of startup companies.

The program according to this Public Call includes two phases.

The first phase, which includes professional training for the acquisition of basic knowledge and skills in the development of an innovative idea to an entrepreneurial venture (from team development, customized products, business model development, to discovering the global market for an innovative product).

Depending on the maturity of the idea, potential for growth and development, demonstrated proactivity and commitment, the participant of the Program will enter the second phase in which they will receive: Mentoring support - Program participants who regularly participate in trainings, show proactivity and commitment in the development of the idea through the first phase of the Program, will have the opportunity to work on further improvement of the innovative idea with mentoring help adapted to their needs.
