Construction of hybrid power plant Vida Power with electricity storage system planned near Zajecar – Solar fields and wind generators to have 350 MW in total

The City Administration of Zajecar has announced the early public inspection on the occasion of the preparation of the detailed regulation plan for the construction of the hybrid power plant Vida Power, with the construction of a system for the storage of electrical energy.

The investor, the Belgrade-based company Vida Power, plans to build a hybrid power plant with a total power of around 350 MW. The plan is for the power plant complex to feature solar fields, as well as wind generators. Also, the plan is to build a substation, a distribution switchgear, as well as a space for the storage of energy.

The Detailed Regulation Plan encompasses a space of around 3,870 ha, and according to the document, the land which is the subject of the analysis is predominantly privately owned agricultural land, mostly ruined and non-arable, with a network of uncategorized roads, by which, according to the current state, access is realized for farming mechanization.

The construction is planned in the territories of the cadaster municipalities of Glogovica, Dubocane, Mala Jasikova and Koprivnica.

The drafting authority is the Department for Urban Planning, Construction, utility and Housing Affairs of the City Administration of Zajecar, and the plan was prepared by Projektura from Belgrade.

The early public inspection lasts until July 30.
