Tender for completion of construction of Students’ Home near technical faculties in Nis extended

The Ministry of Education has extended the deadline for the submission of bids for the tender for the completion of the works on the construction of the Students’ Home near the technical faculties in Nis. The new deadline for the submission of bids is July 25, 2024.

The previous deadline was April 19, and the tender was also suspended in the meantime, because three companies had filed requests for the protection of rights.

The construction of this facility, whose value is estimated at RSD 960 million without the VAT, is financed from the Framework Loan Agreement signed between the Republic of Serbia and the Council of Europe Development Bank and the budget of the Republic of Serbia.

The construction of this home, which is to have a basement and 13 floors (including the ground floor and the loft) began in 2009, continued in 2014, and the most recent phase of the works was carried out in 2019, when five floors were added.

The total gross developed area of the building is 12,207.09 m2.
