Atos Worldline offers a new simple and innovative payment
method: weXpay, which allows anyone to purchase on the internet with cash, without the
need for bank cards, cheques or wire transfer.
This solution, designed
for paying small amounts, meets the requirements of a new range of
internet purchasers using the Sips e-payment solution in complete
security, reads a company's release.
weXpay is a new payment method enabling online purchases using cash without having to divulge personal or financial information and thus avoiding the risk of fraud. The system is easy to use and precludes the need for a bank account.
Available now on Sips e-payment solution, this new payment method enables retailers to respond to the needs of a large customer base including people without bank accounts, those reluctant to use their bank cards online, the elderly, minors, etc.
All the purchaser needs to do is exchange the required cash amount for a ticket bearing a unique code at one of the points of sale in the weXpay network, which is made up of newsagents and tobacconists, and then simply made the desired purchase.
"Atos Worldline has integrated weXpay into Sips e-payment solution to enable retailers to have access to an innovative payment method. The 30,000 retailers that use Sips e-payment solution as a payment solution either directly or via our banking partners can activate weXpay with ease and without incurring any installation costs," says Pascal Dehaussy, director of banking, finance and insurance at Atos Worldline.
