What National Pavilion of Serbia for EXPO will look like – Multifunctional, multimedia and kinetic facility (PHOTO)

It has been a year since Serbia was chosen to be the host of the International Specialized EXPO 2027, and now it is finally known what the National Pavilion of Serbia at this expo will look like.

The designer of this facility is Dr Dusan Jovovic, and as the minister of finance of Serbia, Sinisa Mali, pointed out, the pavilion is planned as a multifunctional, multimedia and kinetic facility, an edifice that will celebrate the identity, value and cultural heritage of Serbia.

The design is based on movement, openness and spaciousness which enable the pavilion to be a recognizable symbol in its environment and to attract a wide range of visitors.

– The center of activities is set so that the visitors are not a passive, but an active part of the space, which spreads on more than 20,000 square meters – Mali said in a post on social media.

As the minister of finance reminded, in the space in Surcin where EXPO will be held and where the National Football Stadium is also being built, the Aquatic Center, thematic and water parks and a residential complex with 1,500 apartments will also be located.

– EXPO is our “injection”, the key point for Serbia’s further progress and development. The construction works on the site in Surcin are going as planned, without a day of delay – there are works on the line infrastructure, on the EXPO complex for which the piles have already been installed, on the construction of the National Football Stadium. EXPO in Surcin will be an innovative and modern exhibition complex, and we are especially proud of our National Pavilion – pointed out Mali.
