Turner Construction arrives in Serbia - World's largest construction company to open branch office in Belgrade

The world's largest construction company - Turner Construction from the USA, is coming to the market of Serbia in September, Danas daily cites unofficial sources. According to this daily newspaper, this construction corporation is expected to open a local branch office and start implementing first projects in our country during this month.

Turner Construction is the global leader in the construction industry. The company this year celebrated the completion of works on its 1,000th stadium. One of the most important stadiums it has ever built is the new stadium of the New York Yankees, worth over USD 1.6 billion. This company has also built some of the world's largest skyscrapers, including Taipei 101 on Taiwan and Burj Khalifa in Dubai. Turner Construction is currently working on the reconstruction of Madison Square Garden in New York and the construction of a USD 5 billion sports complex in Qatar.

The arrival of Turner Construction in Serbia is not exclusively linked to investments in football stadiums, but also to much broader spectrum of investments, so that the company has already agreed to implement several smaller projects, one of which is the reconstruction of Continental hotel in Belgrade.
